Adventures4Action is currently raising funds to build a well for clean water in the Imirpon Maassai village in Kenya.
Since A4A tends to support educational projects, many have asked, Why a Well?
As you know, we believe in the fundamental right of access to education, and we support this belief through leading educational projects in developing nations via partnership and cooperation with local leaders that support community driven empowerment.
Currently we are cooperating with a Maasai village in Kenya to build a well for clean water and a nursery and primary school for the children. We want this access to the school to be universal for all the children. However, as a part of the cultural norms, it is the girls who fetch water for daily life, and therefore often cannot attend school.
The well is an essential first step as it will allow children to attend school rather than spending their days fetching water from long distances. The children are then able to attend school, and return home with clean water at the end of the school day.
Education is a leading factor in social and economic development, particularly for women and young girls and the well and school will allow the village new opportunities for social, economic and health well being.
Therefore, the well for clean water is first being constructed, and then after the new school will be constructed next to it.

Every donation adds up! Even just 10 euros helps a child in this Maasai village have opportunities for fresh water, a new school, medical care, and food.
